Billing, Cancellation & Refunds

Effective Date: July 11, 2026

This page is a plain-language summary of how RunLC Pro billing works. The full legal terms are in Sections 6–8 of our Terms of Service; if this summary and the Terms ever conflict, the Terms control.

1. How billing works

RunLC Pro is an automatically renewing subscription. When you subscribe on the web, our payment processor, Stripe, charges your payment method at the start of each billing period (monthly unless a different period is stated at checkout), at the price shown at checkout plus any applicable taxes. Your subscription renews and your payment method is charged automatically each period until you cancel. The price, billing period, and renewal terms are always displayed before you confirm a purchase.

2. Free trials

If your plan includes a free trial, you get full Pro access for the trial period at no charge. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the trial converts automatically to a paid subscription and your payment method is charged the then-current Pro price. We show the trial length and the post-trial price at signup. You can cancel at any moment during the trial and you will not be charged.

3. How to cancel

Canceling is self-serve and takes the same effort as signing up — no phone call, no email required:

  • Web subscriptions: open your Profile, choose Manage billing, and click Cancel subscription in the billing portal. Cancellation is effective at the end of the current billing period, and you keep Pro access until then. You will not be charged again.
  • App Store subscriptions: if you subscribed through the Apple App Store, Apple manages your subscription. Cancel in your device's Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, at least 24 hours before the current period ends. RunLC cannot cancel an App Store subscription for you.

If you have any trouble canceling, email support@runlc.com and we will process the cancellation for you.

4. Refunds — web (Stripe) purchases

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on your first paid Pro charge. Email support@runlc.com within 30 days of that first charge, from your account email, and we will refund it to your original payment method through Stripe.

Outside that window, subscription fees are non-refundable and we do not prorate partial periods — when you cancel, you keep Pro access until the end of the period you already paid for. Nothing here limits mandatory consumer-protection rights in your jurisdiction, including statutory cooling-off periods for EU and UK consumers.

5. Refunds — Apple App Store purchases

Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store are billed by Apple, not by RunLC, and refunds are decided by Apple under Apple's policies. To request one, use Apple's refund page at reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support. RunLC cannot issue refunds for App Store purchases.

6. Price changes

If we increase the price of your subscription, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance by email or in-app notice. The new price applies only from your next renewal after the notice period, and you can cancel before it takes effect.

7. Your local rights

Some jurisdictions give subscribers additional rights around automatic renewal and cancellation — for example, California (Bus. & Prof. Code § 17600 et seq.), New York (Gen. Bus. Law § 527-a), and Massachusetts (940 CMR 38.00) require clear renewal disclosure and an online cancellation path, which this page and our checkout flow are designed to provide. Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under applicable law.
